ooh la la

so i have officially been in peru for a week. I'm not going to lie, it's a little weird and i'm homesick.

today was hell. okay, not literally because it wasn't blazing hot mainly because it's winter here BUT i did a ton of walking up and down very steep hill/steps.

S/N: Why couldn't the Incas have chosen a flatter place to establish their civilization?

I got a chance to make a pot at a ceramic factory....mine resembles a cereal bowl only smaller and a little deeper. haha. I'm proud of my cereal bowl because I have absolutely NO artistic ability.

Cusco Time: So far, Cusco and I have established a friendship---a great friendship. I'm ready to leave my mark on this historic skinny town. haha. Plus, the shopping is phenomenal !! Oh, and the food at the plaza de armas is pretty damn good as well.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we're going hiking. -_- we're going to Puno. So i'll be sure to post about that.

Classes are easy and I absolutely adore my Peruvian teacher, Magda. She is soooooooo intelligent about the Incans that one would not know unless one is in Peru and has Magda for a teacher. But everyone else that I have met are exceptionally nice. It honestly makes me wonder why some Americans are douchebags.
